Studio Practice
Alongside my commercial work I maintain an active exhibition practice. Recent highlights include a solo show in New York City, an installation at NADA, an interview with Yale University radio, and a listing on ArtForum's must-see list.
My fine art and design work aren't separate careers — they're the same eye looking at different problems.
Selected Clients & Experience
Brooklyn, NYDesigner. Artist. Native New Yorker.
I'm a graphic designer and working artist specializing in beauty and lifestyle brands. My commercial work spans art direction, packaging, digital campaigns, email, and photography built over a decade of designing for brands sold at Sephora and Ulta.
My MFA in painting and an active studio practice inform everything I make commercially. The packaging I design often starts with paint and a brush before it gets near a screen. The photo shoots I art direct are shaped by twenty years of thinking about light, composition, and what makes an image worth looking at.
I work best on projects where craft matters; special packaging with a handmade quality, campaigns that need a strong visual point of view, photo shoots that require someone who understands both the brand and the light. I also love designing emails. Some of my best client relationships have been built one campaign at a time.
What we make together will be innovative, considered, handmade where it counts, and just might make someone stop and look a little longer.
